Arizona Crickets
Did you know crickets are one of the most destructive insects? They eat fabrics (clothes), carpet, vegetables, fruit, and paper. This is why the population should not be left untreated. Not to mention that annoying chirping, which is only made by the males rubbing the edges of their forewings together to impress females. Another way to inform you of their presence is droppings around your house that look like someone dropped some black pepper.
House Cricket VS Field Cricket
House cricket body is usually a little more yellowish brown and size can be about 3/4″ to 1″.
Field crickets body is darker and tends to be about 1″ or larger.
There are a few other species of crickets that we do treat. That includes Jerusalem cricket, Mormon cricket and Tobacco cricket. Crickets are mainly out at night which is why you hear them when you are trying to sleep.
